I am SO tired lately! I'm 4 months pregnant with your new sibling, we haven't found out if its a he or a she yet so right now its just called "new baby" because we call you "baby." You have been having a hard time sleeping through the night lately. Now, that isn't really unusual, you usual wake up once or twice but then go back to sleep when you see I didn't abandon you. But lately, you have been having growing pains in your legs. You have been waking up crying and saying "owie, owie, legs, feet, owie!" It's so sad! The first night this happened it took a long time to even get you tell me what was wrong. At first I thought it was your stomach but once you told me it was your legs it all made sense. Seth came in and helped me get you to take your liquid medicine, which you despise, plus, you were half asleep so it wasn't fun for anyone. Seth had to hold you while I squirted it into your mouth while you were crying and screaming. It was awful and I felt so bad but it really did help. I rubbed your legs and your feet through your cute froggie footie pajamas until you finally fell asleep. The week after that, you got the flu with a high fever. This again, was so sad to watch. You were so cute and spacey when you weren't feeling well because you just laid in the bed (naked, because you wanted to be) and zoned out to "Tangled," one of your favorite movies. I tried to get you to take liquid medicine that would have made you feel better but you took one tiny taste and gave it back to me while shaking your head and saying "I don like it." I'm glad I didn't force you to take though because right after that you said your tummy hurt and threw up all over me, yourself, and the bed. Seth was at work during this time but he was able to find some chewable Tylenol and you took that like it was candy when he got home. I am still so excited about this! I cannot believe that the screaming and tearful battles to get you to take medicine is over! Thankfully, your flu didn't last for more than a week and you were back to your cute self. But, as I said, you are cute all the time. Even when you are sick and fall asleep face first next to your KIX.
